The nurse practitioners differ from ordinary nurses because they have more professional skills, abilities and experience and have the ability to carry out specific study area related duties such as women’s health, pediatric, family, new born babies and etc. The nurse practitioner salary is high as compared to other medical staff because their job is hectic, tough, demanding and challenging. The BLS in report showed that after doctors the nurse practitioners are the highly paid professionals and the average salary of the nurse practitioner is around $83,000 per year.
