New Studies Show Doctorate Degrees Make a Financial Difference
The latest numbers are in. A person with a doctorate degree averages about two million dollars more over their lifetime than a person with a bachelor’s degree. If a person works out the cost percentages, no one can afford to quit school now. With doctoral programs online, everyone can go back to school. Employment numbers don’t lie either. With everyone unemployed who don’t have doctorates, very few people with doctorates are unemployed. Colleges that used to hire undergraduate instructors with a bachelor or master’s degrees will no longer hire them.
If a teacher wants to stay employed in this economy, they pretty much don’t have a choice except to get their doctorate degree. America has become a country where a doctorate degree is the new bachelor’s degree. If a person doesn’t have one, the job will go to someone who does. A person with a doctorate degree is more likely to be hired and stay hired than a person without one.
